Our policy is to provide as much information via the web as possible while still protecting our youths' privacy. Because of the open nature of the world wide web, our policy is as follows:

1. We will not  disclose scouts full names or addresses or provide scout rosters via the web.

2. Troop or patrol activity photographs may be published but will not be identified with individual names. Additionally, a photograph will not be published (or will be removed from the web immediately) if any parent's son included in the photograph objects to its publication.  Written permission for publication of scout photos is kept on file by the webmaster.

3. Announcements, articles, etc. may only include a scout's first name or first name and last initial. Full names of scouts will not be published. Full names of adults and e-mail addresses may be published as necessary for effective communication within the troop.

4. Links to individual scout's web pages will not be allowed nor will references to scouts e-mail addresses.

5. Troop 14 also adheres to the web policy of the Santa Clara County Council, BSA (http://www.sccc-scouting.org/sccc/main/web_policy.asp) . Questions or suggestions about these policies should be directed to dan_parker@pacbell.net or parkerd@us.ibm.com.
